Other studies confirm that mental skills deteriorate after the age of forty. Amazingly, the holy Qur’an points out that man reaches his full strength at the age of forty and then starts deteriorating afterwards. Allah, the exalted says: We have enjoined on man Kindness to his parents: In pain did his mother Bear him, and in pain Did she give him birth. The carrying of the (child) To his weaning is (A period of) thirty months. At length, when he reaches The age of full strength And attains forty years, He says, "O my Lord! Grant me that I may be Grateful for Thy favour Which Thou hast bestowed Upon me, and upon both My parents, and that I May work righteousness Such as Thou mayest approve; And be gracious to me In my issue. Truly Have I turned to Thee And truly do I bow (To Thee) in Islām." Such a scientific fact wasn’t proven until the mid of 2012 based on a scientific study that lasted for several years. Amazingly the holy Qur’an talked about such a fact 1400 years ago. The holy Qur’an talks in several verses about the story of the Pharaoh of Egypt and the bliss he enjoyed as well as the gifts that god granted him, but he was arrogant and disbelieved in god thus god destroyed him and made him drown in his sins. Allah, the great says: And Pharaoh proclaimed Among his people, saying: "O my people! Does not The dominion of Egypt Belong to me, (witness) These streams flowing Underneath my (palace)? What! See ye not then? Zukhruf or Gold Adornments: 51 The miracle lies in saying “and these streams flowing" which means that there were streams in ancient Egypt, a fact that wasn't known at the time of Qur'anic revelations.
