They assure that a person’s social environment can affect their health, with those who are socially isolated are exposing to a high risk of mortality than people who are not. Now, in the first study of its kind, published in the current issue of the journal Genome Biology, UCLA researchers have identified a distinct pattern of gene expression in immune cells from people who experience chronically high levels of loneliness. The findings suggest that feelings of social isolation are linked to alterations in the activity of genes that drive inflammation, the first response of the immune system. The study provides a molecular framework for understanding why social factors are linked to an increased risk of heart disease, viral infections and cancer. The researchers are trying to determine whether that risk is a result of reduced social resources, such as physical or economic assistance, or from the biological impact of social isolation on the function of the human body. “What this study shows is that the biological impact of social isolation reaches down into some of our most basic internal processes the activity of our genes.” said Steve Cole, an associate professor of medicine in the division of Hematology-Oncology at the David Geffen School of Medicine, and a member of the UCLA Cousins Center for Psychoneuroimmunology. “We found that changes in immune cell gene expression were specifically linked to the subjective experience of social distance,” said Cole, who is also a member of the Jonsson Comprehensive Cancer Center. “The differences we observed were independent of other known risk factors, such as health status, age, weight, and medication use. The changes were even independent of the objective size of a person’s social network.”added Cole. Another study had showed that feelings of loneliness and social isolation can affect a human brain activity as well as people's behavior. The researchers in the study have revealed over the time that loneliness leads to decreased activation of the ventral striatum. The current study is the first one that used fMRI scans to measure activity in the brain in combination with data about social isolation, or loneliness. It is a new approach to psychology that can lead scientists to a better study of brain mechanisms and understanding the science of the brain. The ventral striatum is a region of the brain associated with rewards, and is activated through primary rewards such as food and secondary rewards such as money. Social rewards and feelings of love also may stimulate the region. The most commonly noted symptom was the appearance of buboes (or gavocciolos) in the groin, the neck and armpits, which oozed pus and bled when opened. From the above table we can put an eye on the killer effect of the plague and we can clearly see that today we live in another plague but in a low killing rate which is the AIDS, the disease which is caused from adultery and unlawful relations. The prophetic miracle Prophet Mohamed peace be upon him told us about the plague as he said: (if people insisted to declare performing of adultery, the plagues and diseases will spread between them such as those who are before them.){Narrated by IbnMagaa}. This Hadith is miraculous because the prophet makes a direct link between the declaration of adultery and the infection by diseases and plagues as seen in these days.But someone may ask:why we see infront of us many scenes of adultery in many countries may be more than what were happening in the past but the plague and diseases are not such as what happened before? Let us read … Today, recent scientists confirm that even modest alcohol consumption can cause blood pressure to increase, according to two recent studies conducted in Japan. Dr. Noriyuki Nakanishi, from the department of social and environmental medicine at Osaka University Graduate School of Medicine in Japan, lead author of the first study, concluded that "Alcohol use represents an important modifiable risk factor for hypertension."Previous research has demonstrated some health benefits for those who drink small amounts of alcohol, but the two new studies indicate that even very low alcohol consumption can be a health risk for many -- almost one in every four people. Alcohol Affects Older Persons More The first study involved more than 5,000 Japanese male office workers, between the ages of 23 and 59, for more than four years. The subjects were grouped into four categories: those who drank fewer than 12 grams of alcohol a day; those who drank 12 grams to 22 grams per day; those who drank 23 grams to 45 grams per day; and those who drank more than 46 grams per day. One glass of wine would contain about 20 grams of alcohol.Researchers observed that as the alcohol consumption rate went up, so did blood pressure. In the 12 grams to 22 grams per day group, systolic blood pressure went up 1.4 points in those between the ages of 25 and 35, but increased 5.4 points for men between the ages of 48 and 59, indicating that drinking affects older persons more. Risk of Hypertension In the second of the two studies, researchers from Kyushu University followed more than 1,100 people over age 40 for 10 years. During that study, 101 men and 106 women developed hypertension with the risk of developing hypertension higher for both men and women who drank, even those who drank less than 23 grams daily. Glory to Allah, this nice fruit has a wonderful scene and taste, but human used it in manufacturing alcohol with its great bad effects. Islam and alcohol Allah Almighty prohibited Muslims from drinking alcohol as He Almighty says:"O you who believe! Intoxicants (all kinds of alcoholic drinks), gambling, Al-Ansab , and Al-Azlam (arrows for seeking luck or decision) are an abomination of Shaitan's (Satan) handiwork. So avoid (strictly all) that (abomination) in order that you may be successful. Shaitan (Satan) wants only to excite enmity and hatred between you with intoxicants (alcoholic drinks) and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and from As-Salat (the prayer). So, will you not then abstain?"(Sûrat Al-Mâ’idah-verse 90-91) And to shortcut the issue to all people who may think that a little amount of alcohol is good or is not harmful for our health, prophet Mohamed peace be upon him told us about alcoholmore than fourteen centuries ago :"What intoxicates in large amounts, a little of it is forbidden."[Narrated by Altermizi] Conclusion After all of the above we see a full identification between the holy book of Qur'an and what our prophet told us fourteen centuries ago and what recent scientists say about the danger of alcohol and that is a clear evidence that religion of Islam is a message from Allah Almighty Who says about prophet Mohamed peace be upon him: "Nor does he speak of (his own) desire. People at this city used to do adultery and homosexuality and they were so proud with that. But, one day in the year 79 A .D. Suddenly a volcanic eruption occurred which released a lot of lava. As a result, people tried to escape but all of them were killed immediately and the city disappeared. We have to remember the story of prophet “Lout” as people at that time were doing the adultery and he used to warn them from that act. http://kaheel7.com/ar/images/stories...29_600x450.JPG Recent scientists are advising us to perform the prayers on its time and not to delay it, prophet Mohamed peace be upon him said so … Scientists say that evidence exists for the healing power of prayer and according to Dr. Barbara Joseph in her book (My Healing From Breast Cancer) she says "If we allow ourselves the belief in the power of prayer and pray for our highest good in the way that comes most naturally to us and with the utmost compassion for ourselves, we can support our healing.” Recent clinical studies have demonstrated that people who pray are less likely to get sick, better able to cope mentally and emotionally with their illness and more likely to recover from surgery and illness.Also, evidence exists for the power of prayer to maintain and improve the function of the immune system. Chemical connections have been identified between molecules produced by the central nervous system and cells of the immune system. Astrocytes, a type of cell in the brain, can produce interleukin-1 (IL-1), a cytokine that affects immune reactions. Furthermore, lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell, contain receptors for many chemicals synthesized by the central nervous system. The researchers say patients are becoming very interested in therapies that coincide with mainstream medicine, such as prayer The studies also confirm that prayer may have a positive placebo effect in nourishing the function of the immune system and some clinical trials of the effects of chemotherapeutic drugs on cancers and determination of side effects show that placebo effects occur in the ******* groups of patients (i.e, those receiving no active drug). On the other hand a new study released in the American Heart Journal says prayer helps the heart when combined with mainstream medical procedures. In that study, DukeUniversityResearchers studied 150 heart disease patients who were scheduled to undergo an invasive cardiac procedure in which a device known as a "stent" is placed into a clogged artery to hold it open. The patients were divided into categories. Some received therapies such as guided imagery, stress relaxation and healing touch, while others had unknown people pray for them without the patient knowing.Twenty-five to thirty percent of those who received these therapies any of the additional therapies in combination with the cardiac procedure were found to be at a lower risk of developing adverse effects, such as heart failure and even death. And participants who received prayers fared better. Dr. Mitch Krucoff, lead author of the study and a cardiologist at Duke University Medical Center, says it's hard to explain how exactly prayer helps the heart. Another study was held by William Harris, Director of Lipid and ****bolic Research with the Mid America Heart Institute of Saint Luke's-Shawnee Mission Health System in Kansas City, in 1999, with similar results. The study(aljazeera.net) was conducted on a number of people and the results were that those who rarely go shopping are less healthy physically and psychologically because it walking, mingling and dealing with people makes you in a much better psychological state. Praise be to Allah, Prophet Muhammad used to walk in the markets despite the criticisms of the unbelievers because they used to believe that doing that is for the poor only! As to kings, noble and rich men didn't do that because of their arrogance and pride. So prophet Muhammad wanted to prove to all people that he is a man indeed and whatever he does, science proves to be of great advantages. Allah says: "find they say: "What sort Of an apostle is this, Who eats food, and walks Through the streets? Why Has not an angel Been sent down to him To give admonition with him?(Al-furqan:7). So prophet Muhammad wanted to prove to us that walking in the markets and streets is perfectly normal and there is nothing wrong with it, rather, it has an advantage that proves that it has a good effect on psychological state. Israa: 78 Walking to Mosques All recent medical studies emphasize the significance of walking for healing many diseases at the top of which are blood pressure and heart diseases as well as high sugar. Besides, daily walking for half an hour helps improve and organize heart functioning, improves one's mood, activates the muscles, and helps in getting rid of daily life pressures, anxiety, and depression. Prophet Mohammad, may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, was so merciful that he taught and urged Muslims to walk to mosques, an action for which they are greatly rewarded. Imam Muslim reported: the messenger of Allah ,may the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, said: " The person who will receive the highest reward for Salat (prayer) is the one who comes to perform it in the mosque from the farthest distance." Prayer for the Treatment of Premature Aging Researchers declare that people have to do more physical activities; a study conducted by some researchers from King's College, the prestigious British university, revealed that lack of physical activity might lead to premature aging. After testing a huge number of twins, the researchers found out that those who do regular physical activities looked younger than their peers who didn't do such activities. Observations have also asserted that people who do regular physical activities especially performing prayer at its earliest fixed time are less likely to show the symptoms of premature aging. Secrets of Hajj 10 The number seven has many indications: number of circumambulations around kaaba are seven, number of rounds between Al-Safa and Al-Marwah are seven, we throw the Satan by seven stones and we must be directed to the Qiblah during prayer ,the most strange thing is that the word Qiblah was mentioned seven times in the Holy book of Qur’an as He Almighty says: (The fools (pagans, hypocrites, and Jews) among the people will say, "What has turned them (Muslims) from their Qiblah [prayer direction (towards Jerusalem)] to which they were used to face in prayer."){Sûrat Al-Baqarah-verse142}. 2.(And We made the Qiblah which you used to face, only to test those who followed the Messenger){Sûrat Al-Baqarah-verse143}. 3.(Surely, We shall turn you to a Qiblah that shall please you.){Sûrat Al-Baqarah-verse144}. 4.(And even if you were to bring to the people of the Scripture (Jews and Christians) all the Ayat (proofs, evidences ,etc.), they would not follow your Qiblah){Sûrat Al-Baqarah-verse145}. 5.(nor are you going to follow their Qiblah){Sûrat Al-Baqarah-verse145}. 6.(And they will not follow each other's Qiblah){Sûrat Al-Baqarah- verse145}. 7.(and make your dwellings Qiblah){Sûrat Yûnus-verse 87}. Experts say about this phenomenon that it occurs in an ascending order and psychologist DR EVA RETVO from Miller School of Medicine saythat the desire to look like someone else is not a natural thing as everyone should appear as he or she isnot as a copy of another person. Doctors confirm that plastic surgeries are not useful and harmful because it has many bad consequences from the medical and psychological side. As people who changes their appearance may be affected by some kind of tension or depression because the change of appearance but the inside still the same which negatively affects human , also people used to pay large amount of money in these operations ,also some people may die after these kind of operations. Also, she says that if you are trying to imitate famous people, it considered being an indicator for a decline in self- respect or any other psychological diseases. Did the Qur’an talk about this phenomenon? Allah says about people who changes their creation that they will do such action by the order of Satan as Allah says in the Quran that Satan will whisper evil to people who obeys him:“and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah."[ Sûrat An-Nisâ’(The Women)verse 119]and after that Allah will say to people”." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss” [ Sûrat An-Nisâ’(The Women)verse 119]. Isn’t a clear miracle in the Qur’an? Who told prophet Mohamed peace be upon him that people will do such action as this phenomenon was not exist at the time of the prophet. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators. A medical team had succeeded in a sophisticated operation to transplanting a whole face for a patient as his face was destroyed by a gun shot and this is the first operation in the world. The medical team said that the health of patient ”Oscar” is going better and he needs 18 months to get a stable health to start his new life. Despite the success of the operation,his face seems deformed. When we see this photo we realize that it is definitely far from the natural face, here we remember what Allah Almighty says: “and has given you shape and made your shapes good (looking)” [Sûrat Ghâfir -The Forgiving- verse 64], here we see a group of best doctors fromall over the world are meeting to perform such plastic surgery to result this face but Allah almighty gave us the best appearance while we were just an embryo in our mother’s womb. Hence we ask atheists a simple question; you claim that universe and human are made by coincidence without a great creator, so how those scientists gave us such result? Is coincidence better than them? Allah almighty did challenge those atheists and said to them in the Qur’an: (This is the creation of Allah. So show me that which those (whom you worship), besides Him have created. Nay, the Zalimun (polytheists, wrong doers and those who do not believe in the Oneness of Allah) are in plain error.) [Sûrat Luqmân-verse 11], this means that everyonedeny the existence of a creator is indeed in a plain error.
