http://kaheel7.com/eng/images/stories/75288.jpg The holy verse: God be he exalted says: (Allah, it is He Who has made for you the earth as a dwelling place and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes good (looking) and has provided you with good things. That is Allah, your Lord: so blessed be Allah, the Lord of the ‘آlamîn (mankind, jinn and all that exists). [Surat Ghafir, verse: 64]. The explanation of the verse: Almighty God talks about his graces that He bestowed upon his people. From these graces that He be exalted made the earth settled for its inhabitants and made the sky as a canopy. He also created mankind in the best shape and He provided them with good things. Ibn Kathir says that (dwelling place) means that the earth is fixed and still, it doesn't shake or move with its people and if it wasn't settled it will be impossible to live on. Scientific fact: In the modern era, scientists have discovered that all the planets have gravity that attracts the nearby bodies and the force of gravity is proportional to the mass of this planet and the distance between it and the bodies that it attracts. Newton was the first one to discover the law of gravity in the 17th century. It was shown that all the cosmic bodies like the sun, moon, planets, stars, and cosmic dust, etc. all have gravitational fields. Therefore the earth has a gravity field that attracts people to it and because of this gravity the objects are settled on the surface of the earth even the atmosphere. This means that if there wasn't a gravitational field for the earth, the atmosphere would have escaped and faded away in the outer space. Hence, the gravity is the reason for the stability of life on earth. The point of inimitability: Through Gods saying: (Allah, it is He Who has made for you the earth as a dwelling place), we notice that God be He exalted told us about the grace of settling the earth and settling the objects on its surface. And the word (dwelling) refers to the stability of creatures on the earth which is an indication to the gravity and that is what scientists have discovered. This verse was revealed at the time when no one was aware of the importance of gravity and stability on earth which attests to the truthfulness of this Quran and that it is a book from Almighty God. This is a picture of the earth and the moon appears beside it, and we notice that the earth has a gravitational field that attracts the moon towards it. And without this gravity, life wouldn't have continued on its surface. God be he exalted says: (Allah, it is He Who has made for you the earth as a dwelling place and the sky as a canopy, and has given you shape and made your shapes good (looking) and has provided you with good things. My Forelock is in Your Hands
http://www.kaheel7.com/userimages/teeth.JPG The Hadith: The Prophet peace be upon him says: (O my God, I'm your servant son of your male servant and female servant, my forelock is in your hands, passing in me your rule, fair on me your judgment, I ask You by each name You called Yourself or You wrote in Your book or You taught to one of Your creatures or You hid for Yourself, to let the Quran be the spring of my heart and the light of my sight and the going of my sorrow) He said peace be upon him: (no one ever says these words when he is sad but God removes his sadness and ******* it with happiness) So the people asked the Prophet do we have to learn these words?He replied :( yes, who heard them should learn them). [Narrated by Ibn Hibban in Al Raqaeq and by Imam Ahmed Bin Massoud]. The explanation of Hadith: This Hadith confirms the importance of the forelock for supplication and healing, so what did the new medical researches discover about what scientists call the front part of the brain? Scientific facts: Scientists have found that the forelock or the front part of the brain grows during faith when the man lives a state of integration with special beliefs, but in case of bad practices and disturbances in faith and not believing in something (i.e., atheism), this region " erodes" by time and the number of brain cells in it decreases and it become smaller. Thus the psychological disorders among these people increases and also their anxiety and frustration increase and perhaps it would be easy for them to commit suicide! Scientists have also found that religion and faith are very important in the treatment of mental disorders, diseases and healing because the belief in healing is half the cure! New experiments done on the brain using the magnetic resonance imaging have proved that when the human lies, his brain works more thus it needs more energy and this means that truthfulness saves in energy and in brain work. The point of inimitability: This Hadith certifies the greatness of Islam because the Prophet peace be upon him resigned his forelock to Almighty God, and it was proved that the forelock is the center of decision-making and faith therefore he demanded from God to look after this forelock. -------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel |

Running of Sun

[Surat Luqman, verse: 29]. The explanation of the verse: The commentators say: (and has subjected the sun and the moon, each running its course for a term appointed)means that God has subjected thesun and moonto the interest and benefit of his creation and they run due to His orders for a limited time. Therefore this verse talks about the movement of the sun as it always run, and the question here: what do scientists say recently about the sun? The scientific fact: The sun is composed of 70% hydrogen, 24% helium, 1% oxygen and other substances like iron with the ratio of 1.6 per thousand. The diameter of the sun is 1.4 million kilometers, and the temperature of its center is 20 million degrees Celsius. The sun is bigger than the earth by one million and two hundred thousand times and it runs in this large universe at a speed of 220 kilometers per second. The scientists thought that the sun revolves around the earth but it was discovered that it is the center of a solar system which is composed of a number of planets and all these planets revolve around the sun. But the sun runs quickly in the universe and it revolves around the center of the galaxy and also around itself. And when it revolves around the center of the galaxy, it needs a period of time estimated by 250 million years to complete its cycle. The point of inimitability: It was shown through scientific facts that the sun moves and runs at high speeds and floats in this universe. And this scientific fact was lately discovered. Illumination and Light
Scientists have discovered that there are burning reactions that happens in the sun which produces light and heat where the temperature of the surface of the sun reaches around six thousand degrees Celsius. Therefore the sun is the source of illumination and the moon is the source of light, the sun produces light that's why we couldn't look directly at it because of the strong light coming out, therefore it is a shining and luminous body and that's why the Quran called it: (shining). As for the moon, it is like a mirror that reflects the sun rays that fall on it then a part of it returns back to the earth and we see it lighted. It means that the moon reflects the light of the sun so we see it a lighted moon. We can look at the moon and enjoy its light; therefore it is a lighted body and the Quran called it: (light). Movement in sky
http://www.kaheel7.com/userimages/moon_man_00.jpg The holy verse: (And even if We opened to them a gate from the heaven and they were to keep on ascending thereto (all the day long), they would surely say (in the evening): "Our eyes have been (as if) dazzled (we have not seen any angel or heaven). Nay, we are people bewitched.) [Surat Al-Hijr, verses: 14, 15]. The explanation of the verse: God be he blessed and exalted talks about the ungrateful people and those who deny meeting him. He tells them that if he opens to them a gate in heaven and they ascended in it, they will say that their eyes are closed and this is just a magic and they are bewitched. And in His words: (and they were to keep on ascending) a reference to the method of rising up to the sky which is ascending in a zigzag way. The scientific fact: It was newly discovered that when any spacecraft gets out of the earth's atmosphere and gets free of its gravity, it moves in a sinuous not straight way. And astronomers confirm that there is no straight movement in the universe but all the movements are sinuous. When one of the astronauts traveled for the first time, he expressed his feelings at that moment and said:" I felt as if I lost my sight or I was bewitched". As for Allah's words: (And even if We opened to them a gate), the gate couldn't be opened in a vacuum and the Quran confirms that the sky is a structure which means that it is composed of parts like adobes, i.e., there is no vacuum in the heaven. Astronomers say: At the moment of the great explosion, the universe was filled with matter and energy, so the matter, energy, place and time were created, which means that there is no time without place and there is no place without time and there is no place and time without matter and energy, so the energy fills the universe. And what is meant by the ascending way is walking in a sinuous pattern and science has come to confirm that the movement in the universe in a straight line is impossible but it should be in a sinuous way. The point of inimitability: The verse contains a reference to the sinuous movement outside the land scope and this fact wasn't known at the time of the coming down of the Quran, therefore it is considered to be one of the signs of the miracles of Quran in astronomy. -------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel |

Solar System
At the bottom of this picture, we can see the sun as a large flaming disk and the planets revolve around it. Earth and Mars revolve around the sun. There are ten planets that revolve around the sun, the farther newly discovered planet is the 10th planet and is called (Xena) while the Earth is the 3rd planet. Traveling to Moon

The explanation of the verses: God be he blessed and exalted swears by the phenomenon of afterglow of sunset and this phenomenon is one of the most beautiful cosmic phenomena. God also swears by the night and whatever it gathers in its darkness and swears by the moon when it is at the full that people will certainly travel from stage to stage. The scientific fact: On July 20, 1969, two American astronauts, Neil Armstrong and Edwin Aldrin traveled to the moon and it was the first time for man to land on the surface of the moon. They used in this journey a spacecraft that is like a ****l plate then by the evolution of astronomy the spacecrafts has developed. So in each year scientists invent spacecrafts with much developed techniques. They even invented thousands of types of spacecrafts and the single spacecraft become consisting of several floors or layers. The point of inimitability: Through this holy verse: (you shall certainly travel from stage to stage), we can see a sign for the possibility of traveling of man to the moon especially that this versecome after mentioning the moon in the verse (And by the moon when it is at the full) and this sign is realizedin the 20th century which indicates that the Quran is the book of Allah and that it coincides with the modern science. -------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel |

The Sun
The sun is a beautiful star. God subjected it to us to give us heat and light. This star is very large and has a diameter of more than one million kilometers. And it is like a fiery ball which looks like a lamp that illuminates the earth for us and without this sun we couldn't be able to see each other. Therefore we have to thank God as He subjected it for us. God be he exalted says in his book about this great grace: (And We have made a shining lamp) [Surat An-Naba, verse: 13]. Verily, We are Able to extend the vastness of space thereof) [Surat Az-Zariyat, verse: 47]. God be he blessed talks in this verse about the extension of the sky and He tells his people that the sky which they see is of tightened structure and it is in a continual extension. Although people thought for a long time that the universe is constant and doesn't change in size, but the Quran told us about this scientific fact and asserted through this verse that the sky always extends and expands (We are Able to extend). So afternumerous experiments done by astronomers, they discovered a scientific fact that is considered to be one of the most important discoveries of the 20th century which is the extension of the universe. And here appears the greatness of this holy verse, as all astronomers confirms that the universe is in a continual extension, as it began as a small point then it started to extend and expand until the present day. Earth
This is the earth that God subjected to us. From the outer space, it looks like a beautiful blue ball. Notice with me how the clouds appear with a white color and the seas appear blue while the land appears brown, but what represents the green color? It is the vegetarian cover that God created for us, as the earth is full of trees and plants and without these plants the life will not continue. The strange thing in this earth that it appears like a suspended ball in the space and this lets us ask: who holds this heavy ball so as not to go away? It is Almighty God that says in his holy book: (Verily! Allâh grasps the heavens and the earth lest they should move away from their places) [Surat Fatir, verse: 41].
