أسماء الله الحسنى Allah's Most Beautiful Names

فيما يلي مسرد لأسماء الله الحسنى مكتوبة باللغتين العربية والإنجليزية. وإحقاقا للحق، فأنا لم افعل فيه شيئا سوى تجميع هذه الأسماء، وإنما الفضل في ترجمتها يعود إلى أستاذنا الكبير / عبد العزيز حمدي، مدير قسم الترجمة بالجامعة الأمريكية بالقاهرة. على أنني أود الإشارة إلى ملاحظتين:
الأولى: أنني قد قابلت بعض الأسماء بترجمتها من القرآن الكريم، وهي الترجمة التي قام بها مجمع الملك فهد لطباعة المصحف الشريف، وأثْبَتُ الترجمة كما في هذا المصحف في حالة اختلافها عن الترجمة الموجودة. ولهذا تجد بعض الأسماء لها كلمتين في الترجمة، فالأولى هي كما جاءت في ترجمة كلمات المصحف، والثانية لأستاذنا الكبير.

الثانية: لاحظت في ترجمة هذه الأسماء ملاحظة هامة، لعلها قد تفيد البعض عند الترجمة. وهذه الملاحظة هي أن الاسم:

- إذا كان على وزن فعول أو فعيل، كانت الترجمة مبدوءة بالكلمة: All- أو Most.

- أما إذا كان على وزن فعال، كانت الترجمة مبدوءة بالكلمة: Ever-.
