Researchers say that the postures of prayer are useful for pregnant women because they activate their muscles' movements and their circulatory as well as reducing the pressure and weight on their feet caused by the weight of the fetus through prostration. Prayer postures also are considered as exercises for pregnant women especially during the last weeks of pregnancy. Such exercises are significant for facilitating natural birth. All glory to Allah who enjoins us to pray to grant us comfort and happiness. Allah says:

Enjoin prayer on thy people,

And be constant therein.

We ask thee not to provide

Sustenance: We provide it

For thee. But the (fruit of)

The Hereafter is for Righteousness. Ta-Ha: 132
