27 Million Americans have Depression



Recent statisticsreveal that 10% of the Americans have depression and are even taking depression drugs, but why? What is the reason behind this phenomenon? Let’s read and find out…

American researchers have said that the use of antidepressants in the USA has multiplied between the years 1996- 2005 most probably due to a number of factors. Researchers have also discovered that antidepressants have been prescribed for around 6% persons in 1996 and they numbered 13 millions then and this number increased to 10% or 27 millions in 2005.

Dr. Mark Olfson of Columbia University in New York and Dr. Steven Marcus of Pennsylvania University both wrote at the journal of general psychology archives that “there’s astounding increase in antidepressantsuse and this is obvious in all socio-demographic classes that have been examined except for Afro-Americans. Not only are more Americans taking antidepressants, but those who are already given antidepressants are taking more.”

Why Depression?

Today, this disease is wide spreading to the extent that governments spend hundreds of billions on medication ….., But in vain why?

The holy Qur’an has provided us with a divine and fundamental law in the following verse:

“But whosoever turns away from My Message, verily for him is a life narrowed down, and we shall raise him up blind on the Day of Judgment.” Ta-Ha: 124

Thus depression is the fate of any and every one who doesn’t believe in the message of Islam because Allah, The Almighty says also in the holy Qur’an:

“If anyone desires a religion other than Islam (submission to God), never will it be accepted of him; and in the hereafter he will be in the ranks of those who have lost (All spiritual good).”Al-i-Imran or the Family of Imran: 85

Dear readers, a true Muslim is the last person to have depression, sadness, and despair due to what Allah, The Exalted says in the holy Qur’an:

“O my sonsgoye and enquire about Joseph and his brother, and never give up hope of God's

soothing Mercy: truly no one despairs of God's soothing mercy, except those who have no faith." Yusuf or Joseph: 87

Allah also says in the holy Qur’an:

“We said: "Get ye down all from here; and if, as is sure, there comes to you guidance from Me, whosoever follows My guidance, on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.”Baqara:38

I hope, therefore, that Muslim psychologists conduct similar research, but on believers… they will undoubtedly find that depression has absolutely no place among believers! because believers evaluate everything through the hereafter scale rather than that of this transient world; everything is from Allah and by his commands and everything that takes place is for their good, so if something good happens to them they'll be grateful and praise Allah for it and if something bad happens to them, they remain patient and this way they get rewarded and blessed either ways and find a solution and remedy while unbelievers find no remedy and get to a dead end and thus they have depression, melancholy, despair, and frustration and this is what we notice about unbelievers. Let's mediate the following great verse:

“Behold! Verily on the friends of God there is no fear, nor shall they grieve* those who believe and (constantly) guard against evil;* for them are Glad Tidings, in the life of the Present and in the hereafter: no change can there be in the Words of God. This is indeed the supreme felicity.” Yunus or Jonah: 62- 64

Dear brothers and sisters, let me ask you a question, don’t you like to become one of Allah’s friends in this world? The answer is very simple; all you have to do is just to have two characteristics; faith and piety. We pray to Allah that we all be among the faithful, pious believers who are the friends of Allah. The British medical journal published a research to confirm that washing hands is much better than any other cure. What does the Qur’an say? Let us read…

British study

Scientists say that although respiratory viruses usually cause minor disease, epidemics can occur. Mathematical models estimate that about 36 000 deaths and 226 000 admissions to hospital in the United States annually are attributable to influenza,and with incidence rates as high as 50% during major epidemics worldwide, respiratory viruses strain health services, are responsible for excess deaths, and result in massive indirect costs owing to absenteeism from work and school.

Concern is now increasing about serious pandemic viral infections. In 2003 an epidemic of the previously unknown severe acute respiratory syndrome (SARS) caused by a coronavirus affected about 8000 people worldwide, with 780 deaths and causing a social and economic crisis, especially in Asia. A new avian influenza pandemic caused by the H5N1 virus strain threatens greater catastrophe.

Hence, the need for interventions to reduce viral load and mounting evidence suggests, however, that single measures, particularly the use of vaccines or antivirals, will be insufficient to interrupt the spread of influenza. Agent specific drugs are also not available for other viruses.

A published research by British medical journal stated that handwashing to be effective in lowering the incidence of pneumonia in the developing world. Clear evidence has also shown a link between personal (and environmental) hygiene and infection.

Researchers say that simple and low cost interventions could be useful in reducing the spread of diseasesalso they confirm that Hand washing doesn't take much time or effort, but it offers great rewards in terms of preventing illness as adopting this simple habit can play a major role in protecting our health.

American study

Another study shows that Americans getting lax about clean hands. Researchers said 77 percent of more than 6,000 men and women washed their hands in public restrooms -- a 6 percent decline compared with a similar study in 2005.

According to the U.S. Centers for Disease ******* and Prevention, hand washing in the single-most important prevention step for reducing disease transmission.

In a telephone survey, 92 percent of adults said they wash their hands in public conveniences, according to the study done by the American Society for Microbiology and The Soap and Detergent Association.

But the study, which also conducted research at public restrooms, showed people's actions were not always matching their claims. Men were the biggest offenders, with just 66 percent of men seen washing their hands in public bathrooms, compared with 88 percent of the women, according to study presented at the Inter science Conference on Antimicrobial Agents and Chemotherapy meeting in Chicago.

"Very clearly, guys need to step up to the sink," said Brian Sansoni, a spokesman for the soap industry group, told reporters. "One third of guys weren't washing their hands in public restrooms. That's gross."

Researchers staked out restrooms at different types of venues in four U.S. cities: Chicago's Shedd Aquarium and the Museum of Science and Industry, Atlanta's Turner Field, New York's Grand Central Station and Penn Station and San Francisco's Ferry Terminal Farmer's Market.

The report stated that men's hygiene was worst at Atlanta's Turner Field, where just 57 percent of men were observed washing their hands after using the toilet at the baseball venue. But 95 percent of women there washed their hands, the highest percentage observed in the study. Chicago was the city with the cleanest hands overall. New York was the second-cleanest; Atlanta came in third, and then San Francisco.

The researchers could not account for why people appear to be washing their hands less in public bathrooms. And they admitted that because the research was done in different venues, it was not scientifically valid. But they said the trend is troubling.

"Fifteen to 20 seconds of friction and soap and water will remove so many germs from your hands and help with your wellbeing. That is a marvelous intervention that will work all over the world," Judy Daly, director of the Microbiology Laboratories at the Primary Children's Medical Center in Salt Lake City, Utah, told reporters.

Dr. Judy Daly is a professor of pathology at the University of Utah School Of Medicine, Director of the MicrobiologyLaboratories at Primary Children's Medical Center and a clinical faculty member at Weber State College School of Allied Health Sciences.

Also, another research published by Cochrane Reviews promoted hand washing can reduce diarrhea episodes by about one-third. This significant reduction is comparable to the effect of providing clean water in low-income areas. However, trials with longer follow up and that test different methods of promoting hand washing are needed.

Islam and hand washing

Many verses in the holy Qur’an and many Hadiths for prophet Mohamed peace be upon him urge Muslims forhand washing.

This habit is practiced by Muslims five times each day during ablutionas Allah Almighty says about thatO you who believe! When you intend to offer As-Salat (the prayer), wash your faces and your hands (forearms) up to the elbows, rub (by passing wet hands over) your heads, and (wash) your feet up to ankles . If you are in a state of Janaba (i.e. had a sexual discharge), purify yourself (bathe your whole body). But if you are ill or on a journey or any of you comes from answering the call of nature, or you have been in contact with women (i.e. sexual intercourse) and you find no water, then perform Tayammum with clean earth and rub therewith your faces and hands. Allah does not want to place you in difficulty, but He wants to purify you, and to complete His Favour on you that you may be thankful.){Sûrat Al-Mâ’idah -The Table spread with Food –verse6}.

A Muslim during ablution by usingwater, recent researches state that simple and low-cost physical measures should be given higher priority in pandemic contingency plans.

Here, we see that Muslims are washing their external parts five times a day and the most important thing is that they have to wash even water is not available by following the “Tayammum” which is to rub dust on face and hand.

Also prophet Mohamed peace be upon him taught us to wash using the water as he said “if there is a river beside the house of any of you and that man is washing himself five times a day, do you think that he may keep dirties in his body? The companions said indeed no, then he replied that is the same as the five prayers if we persist on them , sins will be removed out of us ”[narrated by Al- Bukhari and Muslim].

At the end we have to say: (Verily! There was a party of my slaves, who used to say: "Our Lord! We believe, so forgive us, and have mercy on us, for you are the Best of all who show mercy!"){Sûrat Al-Mu’minûn-The Believers -verse109}.

Turning away from Allah leads to suicide



Do you know that 100 people are committing suicide every hour, and the reason behind that is being away from Allah, thanks Allah for being a Muslim!

The World Health Organization estimates that about 877,000 people worldwide die by suicide every year. The UN health agency says surveys indicate that for every death by suicide, anywhere from 10-40 suicide attempts are made.

Today, we see that the phenomenon of committing suicide is spreading all over the world and that because people are desperate,pessimistic anddon’t believe in the existence of Allah, so they are suffering from psychological troubles that leads them to suicide.

Allah says in the holy Qur’an about those people: ("But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qur'an nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and we shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection."*he will say :"O my Lord! Why have you raised me up blind, while I had sight (before)."*(Allah) will say: "Like this, Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) came unto you, but you disregarded them (i.e. you left them, did not think deeply in them, and you turned away from them), and so this Day, you will be neglected (in the Hell-fire, away from Allah's Mercy)."){Sûrat Tâ-Hâ- verse 124-126}.

That is the destiny of the followers of the Satan but Allah almighty did promise believersto let them to live a wonderful life with a quiet soul as Allah says: (Whoever works righteousness, whether male or female, while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)) {Sûrat An-Nahl-The Bees –verse 96}.

Some people believe that money is behind happiness, but that is definitely wrong because many rich people are committing suicide but they are poor in belief! Allah almighty says: (So let not their wealth or their children amaze you (O Muhammad ); in reality Allah's Plan is to punish them with these things in the life of the this world, and that their souls shall depart (die) while they are disbelievers.) {SûratAt-Taubah-(The Repentance – verse 55}.

Insomnia and suicide

World health organization estimates number of people who commits suicide every year by 877000 man and woman knowing that between every 40 attempts there is only one death.

Adults who suffer chronic sleep problems may face an increased risk of suicidal behavior, new research indicates.

Scientists found that the more types of sleep disturbances people had, the more likely they were to have thoughts of killing themselves, engage in planning a suicidal act or make a suicide attempt.

"People with two or more sleep symptoms were 2.6 times more likely to report a suicide attempt than those without any insomnia complaints," said the study's leader, Dr. MarcinWojnar, a research fellow at the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Michigan and Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Department of Psychiatry at the Medical University of Warsaw in Poland.

Scientists have consistently linked sleep disturbances to an increased risk of suicidal behavior in people with psychiatric disorders and in adolescents, but it has been unclear whether the association also exists in the general adult population.

"Identifying those at high risk of suicide is important for preventing it and these findings indicate that insomnia may be a modifiable risk factor for suicide in the general population," Wojnar said. "This has implications for public health as the presence of sleep problems should alert doctors to assess such patients for a heightened risk of suicide even if they don't have a psychiatric condition. Our findings also raise the possibility that addressing sleep problems could reduce the risk of suicidal behaviors."

Sleep is a great blessing from Allah almighty who says in the Qur’an: (And among His Signs is the sleep that you take by night and by day, and your seeking of His Bounty. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who listen)

{Sûrat Ar-Rûm-The Romans-verse23}.

In the study, the broadest and most rigorously conducted of its kind, scientists examined the relationship over one year between three characteristics of insomnia (difficulty falling asleep, difficulty staying asleep and waking at least two hours earlier than desired) and three suicidal behaviors (suicidal thoughts, planning and attempts) in 5,692 Americans. About 35 percent of those studied reported experiencing at least one type of sleep disturbance in the preceding 12 months.

The most consistent link was seen for early morning awakening, which was related to all suicidal behaviors. People with this problem were twice as likely as those with no sleep problems to have had suicidal thoughts in the preceding 12 months, 2.1 times more likely to have planned suicide and 2.7 times more likely to have tried to kill themselves.

Difficulty falling asleep was a significant predictor of suicidal thoughts and planning. Compared with people who reported no sleep problems, those who had trouble initiating sleep had 1.9 times the risk of suicidal ideas and 2.2 times the risk of planning suicide.

People who had trouble sleeping through the night - waking up nearly every night and taking an hour or more to get back to sleep – were twice as likely to have thought of suicide in the last year and were three times more likely to have attempted it than those who had no sleep problems.

The results were adjusted for several factors known to influence suicide, including substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorder and other mood disorders, as well as chronic medical conditions such as stroke, heart disease, lung disease and cancer. They were also adjusted for the influence of sociodemographic factors such as age, gender, and marital and financial status.

How sleep disturbance might increase the risk of suicide is still poorly understood. Scientists have proposed that insufficient sleep may affect cognitive function and lead to poorer judgment, less impulse ******* and increased hopelessness.

Allah wants us to take an attention about the blessing of sleeping as that blessing is not a grant from the nature but it is a pure grant from Allah Almighty who says in the Qur’an: (And it is He Who makes the night a covering for you, and the sleep (as) repose, and makes the day Nushur (i.e. getting up and going about here and there for daily work, etc. after one's sleep at night or like resurrection after one's death)(Sûrat Al-Furqân-The Criterion){-verse47}.

Did the nature tell us anything about the importance of sleep?

Allah says and(whose words can be truer than those of Allah?) {Sûrat An-Nisâ’- The Women - verse122}.

Stress and pressures are behind suicide of US soliders

After a 15-month study of mental health issues in the U.S. Army, it released a report on drug abuse, suicides, and other problems

In an interview with NPR's Robert Siegel, Gen. Peter W. Chiarelli, the Vice Chief of Staff of the Army, said that, while multiple deployments certainly contribute to those issues, there are many other causes.

"I think it's a function of many, many things," he said. "I think that the two prolonged wars we're fighting have caused stressors to occur in the force, but I don't think they can be divorced from the other stressors that soldiers are under, including family and professional problems.

According to Chiarelli, the Army has to change the culture on bases in the U.S., as soldiers continue to fight two wars overseas, acknowledging that is a tall order.

Also, according to the latest information released by the US Army reveals that last year (2009) American soldiers attempted suicide at the rate of about

5/day. There were 160 successful suicides last year and during June the rate was 1/day. Military research has reported that one in 10 Iraq veterans may develop a severe case of PTSD.

Researchers say In A report issued by the US Army,: “simply stated, we are often more dangerous to ourselves than the enemy” It went on to say that commanders have failed to identify and monitor soldiers prone to risk taking behavior and as a result suicides among soldier have soared. There were 250 recommendations in the recent report and the Army has already implanted 240 of them.

While these are positive things done to provide good mental health care, they won’t prevent PTSD and sadly it won’t eliminate suicides.

Researchers say: “we aren’t able to prevent the increasing number of Americans being killed by IEDs. War is hell and soldiers get killed. We train them the best way that we know how but inevitably soldiers die when there is a war. Maybe one soldier, despite the best training available isn’t quite as good in a combat zone as another one. Some may be able to know when to zigrather than zag . Some have better instincts than others and that may make them more likely to survive."

Here we have to think deeply, did any one hear about committing suicide in Muslims’ army?

Indeed no, because Muslims have a faith, and they fight for a purpose and they target the victory or the martyrdom.

Accelerating increase in numbers of suicides in America

Suicide isranking 11th among causes of death in the United States, accounting for more than 31,000 deaths each year. John McIntosh, a professor of psychology at IU South Bend and an expert in suicide prevention, said that many common assumptions about suicide are inaccurate, including how often it occurs, who dies of suicide, signs of risk for suicidal behavior, and the myth of the suicide note. He says that suicide is nearly twice as common as homicide, killing one person every 16.7 minutes in the U.S. It is the third leading cause of death among young people. McIntosh estimates, based on an average of six people being closely connected to the victim, over 4.5 million people in the U.S. (1 in 65) have lost a loved one to suicide.

Old, not young, and men, not women, make up the greatest numbers. Although suicide ranks higher as a cause of death for young people, the number of older adults who die from suicide is significantly higher than the number of young people who kill themselves. According to the latest data, adults over age 65 accounted for 16.7 percent of suicides in the U.S. whereas young people aged 15 to 24 accounted for 12.7 percent, even though older adults represented a smaller portion of the population. With respect to gender, there were four male deaths by suicide for every female death. However, women are more likely to attempt suicide than men.

One of these attempts to committing suicide was done by an American husband who shot all of his family (wife and 5 children) because he lost his job and he left a message saying that he did it because he and his wife believe that terminating life of the family is better than letting children to be with strangers.

Look at people who are away from Allah almighty how they look to life!!If they believe in Allah they would not do such terrible action, Allah says: (And kill not your children for fear of poverty. We provide for them and for you. Surely, the killing of them is a great sin.){Sûrat Al-Isrâ’-(The Journey by Night)-verse31} also He says: (Verily, Allah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, and the Most Strong.){SûratAdh-Dhâriyât -The Winds that Scatter –verse 58}

Also,look at ProphetYa'qub (Jacob) who lost his lovely sonYûsuf(Joseph)and what did he say about that situation in the Qur’an as Allah almighty says on the tongue of Ya'qub: ("O my sons! Go you and enquire about Yusuf (Joseph) and his brother, and never give up hope of Allah's Mercy. Certainly no one despairs of Allah's Mercy, except the people who disbelieve."){SûratYûsuf-Prophet Joseph-verse87], here Allah says that only disbelievers who despairs of Allah’s mercy.

Committing suicide on internet

Suicide has become chillingly familiar. After forging a pact with strangers over the Internet, young Japanese get together to carry out a carefully planned task -- suicide.

Just as others may use the Web to plan a vacation or perhaps find a date, some people are turning to it to form death pacts. They trade tips on which rooftops are the best to jump from, which over-the-counter drugs are the most lethal.

Officials say suicide pacts have been made over the Internet since at least the late 1990s and been reported everywhere from Guam to the Netherlands.

But in Japan, where the suicide rate is among the industrialized world's highest, officials are worried about a spate of such deaths.

Alarmed, some politicians are suggesting suicide sites on the Web be regulated or shut down.

"I do wonder if these suicide sites should be left as they are," Education Minister Atsuko Toyama said. "Is it right to neglect the dissemination of information that invites people to kill themselves?"

Regulation doesn't sit well with many experts, however.

"Allowing suicidal people to communicate their problems over the Net is not the issue," said Yoshitomo Takahashi, professor of behavioral science at the National Defense Medical College Research Institute.

Yoshitomo Takahashi said authorities should focus their resources on suicide prevention rather than trying to crack down on Internet sites.

"The problem in Japan is that there are more sites where people are exchanging suicide methods, looking for partners, than there are sites devoted to prevention," he said.

KazutakaNakamizo, spokesman for the telecommunication ministry's bureau that supervises electronic communications, said a causal link would have to be proved between a site and a specific suicide.

"Many of these sites actually exist to try and dissuade potential victims," he said. "We can't shut down all of them."

The National Police Agency has yet to compile any nationwide statistics on Internet-related suicides because discussing a death wish is not against the law -- it's only illegal to be an accomplice to a suicide.

China's suicide rate is the highest

China has one of the highest suicide rates in the world, particularly among rural women, an expert on suicide prevention said.

Yang Fude, vice-president of Beijing Hui Long Guan Hospital, said China is the only country where suicides among women outnumber men.

"It is also one of the few countries where rural suicides outnumber urban suicides," he said on World Suicide Prevention Day.

Recent statistics show more than 287,000 people end their own lives every year on the Chinese mainland.

Stress and depression cause 70 to 80 percent of suicides in urban areas, where many of those afflicted jump off buildings, according to data released by the Beijing Suicide Research and Prevention Center.

Half of the suicides on the mainland are of women in rural areas, who commonly drink pesticide to end their lives.

More than 58 percent of suicides by females and 27 percent of attempts in rural areas used pesticides.

Though suicide ranks fifth after cerebrovascular diseases (such as a stroke), bronchitis, chronic emphysema, liver cancer and pneumonia, it is the leading cause of death for people aged between 15 and 34.

A two-year survey by researchers at Peking University found over 20 percent of 140,000 high-school students interviewed said they had considered committing suicide. And 6.5 percent of the students surveyed said they had made plans to kill themselves.

"Compared with Western countries, suicide in China is an escape from immediate problems and not related to mental issues as much," Yang said.

"Here suicides are more often spur of the moment."

Yang called for more attention to be paid to potential suicides of young women in rural areas and senior citizens in urban areas.

"As the nation ages, more elderly people are left at home with psychological and physical problems," Yang said.

The central government of china has gradually realized suicide is becoming a public health issue that happens to all groups of people.

Currently, the country has just 19 professional suicide intervention institutes registered nationwide. These provide depression hot lines staffed by nurses, depression-awareness campaigns and psychiatrists in emergency rooms.

Research has been launched to investigate the reasons for young people committing suicide.

The treatment from the holy Qur’an

Allah Almighty told us about the reason as He Almighty says: (Allah says in the Qur’an about people who are away from Him): ("But whosoever turns away from My Reminder (i.e. neither believes in this Qur'an nor acts on its orders, etc.) verily, for him is a life of hardship, and we shall raise him up blind on the Day of Resurrection."){SûratTâ-Hâ.-verse 124}.

But most researchers confirm that the reason behind committing suicide is losing hope and lack of enough warnings from doing that terrible action. Allah advise us in many verses to trust Him as he Almighty says: ("And why should we not put our trust in Allah while He indeed has guided us our ways){Sûrat Ibrâhîm– verse 12}and He Almighty asserts to warning us from killing ourselves by saying: (And do not kill yourselves. Surely, Allah is Most Merciful to you. *And whoever commits that through aggression and injustice, We shall cast him into the Fire, and that is easy for Allah.){Sûrat An-Nisâ’-(The Women)-verse 29-30}.

In a new study, American researchers believe that growing numbers of married people are turning to internet chat rooms for sexual thrills.
Most spouses who got involved with the opposite *** over the internet did not think they were doing anything wrong, said the report by a University of Florida researcher.But partners felt betrayed even though in most cases no physical contact had taken place.
"The internet will soon become the most common form of infidelity, if it isn't already," said Beatriz Mileham, from the University of Florida, who carried out the new study.
According to counseling groups in the US, Chat rooms are today the fastest rising cause of relationship breakdowns.
“The problem would get worse as the number of people online continued to rise” said MsMileham.

The university's Dr Bjarne Holmes said: "Marriage counselors often see couples who believe that *** should always be perfect, and if someone is meant to be with you then they will know what you want without you needing to communicate it.”
"We now have some emerging evidence that suggests popular media play a role in perpetuating these ideas in people's minds.” He added.

Pornography war and teenagers
The Internet and cable television have ushered in an age of unprecedented access to hard-core pornographic images, and teenagers are one of the many victims. Numerous studies have pointed to the serious harm of pornography on teenager as it has a severe negative effect on them.

Pornography and children
Today, Children are exposed to sexual material on television at earlier ages. Even television shows, supposedly for children, make references to ***. The references may seem harmless to an adult, but a child does not understand what is on television is not real (depending on their age). Even if they do, they may think that behavior is appropriate even for them.

Parents need to take caution. Make sure that computers, DVD players, and televisions have parental controls to protect children from seeing something they should not.

In another study of six hundred American males and females of junior high school age and above, researcher Dr. Jennings Bryant, head of the radio-television school of communication at the University of Houston found that 91 percent of the males and 82 percent of the females admitted having been exposed to X-rated, hard-core pornography. Over 66 percent of the males and 40 percent of the females reported wanting to try out some of the sexual behaviors they had witnessed. And among high schoolers, 31 percent of the males and 18 percent of the females admitted actually doing some of the things they had seen in the pornography within a few days after exposure.

This means that the sexually deviant child may have been molested or simply exposed to sexuality through pornography.
Porn is the theoryand rape is the practice
The Campaign against Pornography and Censorship (CPC) who asserted that pornography should be "eliminated through correct information, education, persuasion, legislation and lawful direct action on the grounds that it harms women", to those who oppose the right of the state to interfere in the bedroom or determine what you can put on your DVD player.

5 12% misspelled web address

Latest statistics illustrate that Men admitting to accessing pornography at work is about 20% of work force and the US adults who regularly visit Internet pornography websites are about 40 millionadult, also Christians who said pornography is a major problem in the home is 47%

Allah ordered men not to look to forbidden things by saying: (Tell the believing men to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts, etc.). That is purer for them. Verily, Allah is All-Aware of what they do.){Sûrat An-Nûr-(The Light)- verse30 } and in the next verse Allah Almighty speaks to women by saying: (And tell the believing women to lower their gaze (from looking at forbidden things), and protect their private parts (from illegal sexual acts) and not to show off their adornment except only that which is apparent (like both eyes for necessity to see the way, or outer palms of hands or one eye or dress like veil, gloves, head-cover, apron, etc.),).){Sûrat An-Nûr-(The Light)- verse31}.
Here, we see how Allah almighty puts us on the right way to prevent us from the psychological effects of pornography becauseHe Almighty wants to purify us which is against what the followers of the Satan wants, He Almighty says: (Allah wishes to accept your repentance, but those who follow their lusts, wish that you (believers) should deviate tremendously away from the Right Path.){Sûrat An-Nisâ’-Sûrat An-Nisâ’-verse27}.
Western societies and experts are calling people to avoidpornography,inmany verses in the Qur’an we can find that meaning but the difference is that isa Divine order 1400 years ago and these western calls are launched just couple of years ago, Allah says: (And come not near to the unlawful sexual intercourse. Verily, it is a Fahishah [i.e. anything that transgresses its limits (a great sin)], and an evil way (that leads one to Hell unless Allah forgives him){Sûrat Al-Isrâ’-(The Journey by Night- verse 32}.
Also He Almighty says: (Say (O Muhammad ): "Come, I will recite what your Lord has prohibited you from: Join not anything in worship with Him; be good and dutiful to your parents; kill not your children because of poverty - We provide sustenance for you and for them; come not near to Al-Fawahish (shameful sins, illegal sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, and kill not anyone whom Allah has forbidden, except for a just cause (according to Islamic law). This He has commanded you that you may understand.){Sûrat Al-An’âm-The Cattle –verse 151}
Also everyone must know that Allah Almighty is merciful and the forgiver of all sins, He says: (Say: "O 'Ibadi (My slaves) who have transgressed against themselves (by committing evil deeds and sins)! Despair not of the Mercy of Allah, verily Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft-Forgiving, Most Merciful.){Sûrat Az-Zumar-(The Groups –verse 53}.
At the end we should be proud by this great religion that wants us to be happy in this life and in the hereafter as He Almighty praises the believers who say: (Our Lord! Give us in this world that which is good and in the Hereafter that which is good, and save us from the torment of the Fire!){Sûrat Al-Baqarah - The Cow -verse201} also He Almighty says about the situation of believers in this life and in the hereafter: (No doubt! Verily, the Auliya' of Allah [i.e. those who believe in the Oneness of Allah and fear Allah much (abstain from all kinds of sins and evil deeds which he has forbidden), and love Allah much (perform all kinds of good deeds which He has ordained)], no fear shall come upon them nor shall they grieve *Those who believed (in the Oneness of Allah - Islamic Monotheism), and used to fear Allah much (by abstaining from evil deeds and sins and by doing righteous deeds)*For them are glad tidings, in the life of the present world, and in the Hereafter. No change can there be in the Words of Allah, this is indeed the supreme success.){Sûrat Yûnus-Jonah –verse62-64}

Many verses in the Qur’an urge Muslims to sleep well to give the body its need of rest, without sleep life on earth wouldn’t continue…
Swedish study A Swedish study claims that People deprived of sleep for long periods appear less attractive and unhealthier than those who are well rested. The research team asked untrained observers to rate the faces of 23 young men and women who had been photographed after a normal night's sleep and then after a night of sleep deprivation.The photographs were standardized so that people were the same distance from the camera, wore no make-up and used the same expression.
The authors wrote in their paper published in the British Medical Journal: "Sleep deprived people are perceived as less attractive, less healthy and more tired compared with when they are well rested."
They say the results may be useful in a medical setting, helping doctors to pick up signs of ill-health in their patients.

Researchers say that the effects of sleep loss on beauty may be even more dramatic than the photographs show.

British and Italian study
A recent study by a group of British and Italian researchers say that getting less than six hours sleep a night can lead to an early grave.They also said that people regularly having such little sleep were 12% more likely to die over a 25-year period than those who got an "ideal" six to eight hours.
Also, they found an association between sleeping for more than nine hours and early death, although that much sleep May merely be a marker of ill health.

Professor Francesco Cappuccio, leader of the Sleep, Health and Society Program at the UK's University of Warwick, says: "Modern society has seen a gradual reduction in the average amount of sleep people take and this pattern is more common amongst full-time workers”
Professor Jim Horne, of the Loughborough Sleep Research Centre,says"Sleep is just a litmus paper to physical and mental health. Sleep is affected by many diseases and conditions, including depression,"
"Five hours is insufficient for most people and being drowsy in the day increases your risk of having an accident if driving or operating dangerous machinery." he added.
What would happen if we didn't sleep?
Scientists say that a good way to understand the role of sleep is to look at what would happen if we didn't sleep. Lack of sleep has serious effects on our brain's ability to function. If you've ever pulled an all-nighter, we'll be familiar with the following after-effects: grumpiness, grogginess, irritability and forgetfulness. After just one night without sleep, concentration becomes more difficult and attention span shortens considerably.

Sleep deprivation not only has a major impact on cognitive functioning but also on emotional and physical health. Disorders such as sleep apnoea which result in excessive daytime sleepiness have been linked to stress and high blood pressure. Research has also suggested that sleep loss may increase the risk of obesity because chemicals and hormones that play a key role in controlling appetite and weight gain are released during sleep.

According to the Division of Sleep Medicine at Harvard Medical School, our body manages and requires sleep in much the same way that it regulates the need for eating, drinking, and breathing. Extensive research has been done on the effects of sleep. These studies have consistently shown that sleep plays a vital role in promoting physical health, longevity, and emotional well-being.

Qur’an assures on the importance of sleeping
From fourteen centuries ago, Allah Almighty told us about the importance of sleep as He says: (And have made your sleep as a thing for rest){Sûrat An-Naba’-verse 9}.
Also in another verse Allah Almighty says: (And it is He Who makes the night a covering for you, and the sleep (as) repose, and makes the day Nushur (i.e. getting up and going about here and there for daily work, etc. after one's sleep at night or like resurrection after one's death).){Sûrat Al-Furqân-The Criterion-verse47}.
Till now science is unable to understand the phenomenon of sleep and atheists who believe in the theory of human evolution can’t understand how nature succeeds to make sleeping to have this vital role in life of mankind? And how this blind nature knew that sleep is important to people?
It is a miracle and a sign of the uncountable signs which testify that Allah is the creator of mankind and all creatures as He Almighty says And among His Signs is the sleep that you take by night and by day, and your seeking of His Bounty. Verily, in that are indeed signs for a people who listen.){(Sûrat Ar-Rûm-The Romans-verse 23}.
Sleep is a great grace from Allah Almighty; don’t we thank Him for all of His graces?

Sweat Produces Germ Fighter New study findings suggest that the sweat excretion may be a lifesaver. It seems that sweat contains a potent germ-fighting agent that may lend a hand in fighting off infections. A group of German researchers have isolated the gene responsible for the compound.
Dr. Birgit Schittek of Eberhard-Karls University in Tubingen, Germany, and colleagues dubbed the gene--and the protein it produces--dermicidin.
“Dermicidin can probably limit an infection very early,'' said Schittek.
“Sweating is in this way a first line of defense against infectious agents'' the researcher added.

German scientists reported that dermicidin is manufactured in the body's sweat glands, secreted into the sweat and transported to the surface of the skin and they confirm that dermicidin is active against many different types of bacteria and it
May help to limit infection by potential pathogens in the first few hours following bacterial colonization
“This is the first antimicrobial (agent) found which is produced by cells in the human skin and which is permanently produced--this means that it provides a constant protection against invading microorganisms,'' Schittek said.
The investigators found that dermicidin was active against many different types of bacteria, including Escherichia coli and Enterococcus faecalis, which are normal inhabitants of the intestines that can infect wounds or contaminate food, as well as Staphylococcus aureus (a common cause of skin infections), and Candida albicans (a fungus that is another cause of infections).
“The findings indicate that human sweat contains at least one antimicrobial protein, which may play a role in the regulation of human skin (microbes)'' said Schittek.
Sweat and tears drive bugs apart
Another group of Scientists found that a protein called lactoferrin in tears, mucus and human milk stops bacteria getting together.
Pradeep Singh and his colleagues of the University of Iowa in Iowa City stated that the protein may help to keep healthy lungs and orifices biofilm-free. "Every vulnerable human surface: lactoferrin is there “Added Singh.

The effect of lactoferrin on bacteria offers a new way to eliminate persistent biofilm infections: by starving them. "Maybe the weak spot of biofilms is restricting their nutrients," says Ganz. Until now, many studies have focused on blocking the chemical signals that colony bacteria use to communicate.
Also, scientists found that medical implants or wounds might be sprayed with lactoferrin or another drug that soaks up ironto prevent biofilms forming. And cystic-fibrosis patients might inhale such a drug.
Allah Almighty gave us uncountable number of blessings
Allah tells people that His Blessings are uncountable as He says: (and if you count the Blessings of Allah, never will you be able to count them. Verily! Man is indeed an extreme wrong-doer, - a disbeliever (an extreme ingrate, denies Allah's Blessings by disbelief, and by worshipping others besides Allah, and by disobeying Allah and His Prophet Muhammad)){Sûrat Ibrâhîm -Abraham -verse34}.
Indeed, we can’t count these blessings because scientists and researchers day after day show us many new benefits for many liquids, organs and cells of our bodythatworkswithout we know anything about these benefits.
Tears, sweat and mucus are for our benefit as if the skin is exploited to us. So we can understand the holy verse as Allah Almighty says: (And has subjected to you all that is in the heavens and all that is in the earth; it is all as a favour and kindness from Him. Verily, in it are signs for a people who think deeply.)
[Sûrat Al-Jâthiyah-The Kneeling -verse 13}.
Hence, we see that all of these blessings were exploited to serve us, don’t we be wise and rational and obey the creator in all of His orders and be away of His prohibitive orders?
Do you know that this skin which is exploited to serve us in this life will be our enemy in day of resurrection as Allah Almighty says: (And (remember) the Day that the enemies of Allah will be gathered to the Fire, so they will be collected there (the first and the last)*Till, when they reach it (Hell-fire), their hearing (ears) and their eyes, and their skins will testify against them as to what they used to do*And they will say to their skins, "Why do you testify against us?" They will say: "Allah has caused us to speak, as He causes all things to speak, and He created you the first time, and to Him you are made to return*And you have not been hiding against yourselves, lest your ears, and your eyes, and your skins testify against you, but you thought that Allah knew not much of what you were doing*And that thought of yours which you thought about your Lord, has brought you to destruction, and you have become (this Day) of those utterly lost!*Then, if they have patience, yet the Fire will be a home for them, and if they beg for to be excused, yet they are not of those who will ever be excused){Sûrat Fussilat-They are Explained in detail-verse 19-24}.
Also, Allah Almighty tells us about another scene when disbelievers and atheists arein the fire as He Almighty says: (Surely! Those who disbelieved in Our Ayat (proofs, evidences, verses, lessons, signs, revelations, etc.) We shall burn them in Fire. As often as their skins are roasted through, We shall change them for other skins that they may taste the punishment. Truly, Allah is Ever Most Powerful, All*Wise.){Sûrat An-Nisâ’-The Women –verse 56}. But on the other side Allah tells us about believers who are in the heaven: (And whosoever believes in Allah and performs righteous good deeds, He will remit from him his sins, and will admit him to Gardens under which rivers flow (Paradise) to dwell therein forever, that will be the great success.){Sûrat At-Taghâbun-Mutual Loss and Gain –verse 9}.

According to a new study, researchers found that the kiss is not just a start but it is a biological indicator for the sexual attraction and it stimulates a group of hormones that leads to success or failure of the sexual relation.

The said study suppose that kiss is responsible for the delivery of the taste and the smell and helps in building the impression between man and woman as studies confirm that women are attracted by men who have different immune system than their system as they can discover that by the kiss.

According to his study,DR/Gordon G.Gallup at the University at "Albany" in USA says that 59% of men and 66% of women said that their attraction to the other party was ended after the first kiss , also he says he found that kiss is so important for women than men.

Professor Gordon G. Gallup joined the University at Albany in 1975 as professor and chair of the Department of Psychology. He served as chair from 1975 to 1984, and since that time has been a professor in biopsychology. His scholarly activity has made a significant impact on the discipline of psychology and continues to bring national and international recognition to the University.

The Albany study also found *** differences in the importance and type of kissing. Males tended to kiss as a means to an end -- to gain sexual favors or to reconcile. In contrast, females kiss to establish and monitor the status of their relationship, and to assess and periodically update the level of commitment on the part of a partner.

According to the study, kissing between sexual or romantic partners occurs in more than 90 percent of human cultures. Some non-human animals, such as common chimpanzees and bonobos, appear to engage in kissing-like behaviors as well.

Animals like human, glory to Allah!!!!!!

Here we can remind you with what Allah almighty said in the holy Qur’an: (There is not a moving (living) creature on earth, nor a bird that flies with its two wings, but are communities like you. We have neglected nothing in the Book, then unto their Lord they (all) shall be gathered.)[Sûrat Al-An’âm-verse38].

Although kissing is a widespread practice among humans, few scientists have attempted to assess the adaptive significance of kissing behavior.

"Kissing is part of an evolved courtship ritual," said Gallup. "When two people kiss there is a rich and complicated exchange of information involving chemical, tactile, and postural cues. This may activate evolved mechanisms that function to discourage reproduction among individuals who are genetically incompatible."

According to the researchers, not only do females place more emphasis on kissing, but most would never engage in *** without kissing. Females were more likely than males to insist on kissing before a sexual encounter, and more likely to emphasize the importance of kissing during and after sexual encounters as well. By comparison, males said they would be happy to have *** without kissing, and far more males than females expressed a willingness to have *** with someone who was not a "good" kisser.

So, we have to understand why the prophet peace be upon him did advice men to start their sexual relation with wives by kissing.

Also, the researchers speculate that the exchange of saliva during kissing may have biological consequences in its own right. Male saliva contains measurable amounts of the *** hormone testosterone which can affect libido.

The authors conclude that the study provides evidence that romantic kissing evolved as an adaptive courtship strategy that functions as a mate-assessment technique, a means of initiating sexual arousal and receptivity, and a way of maintaining a bonded relationship.

"Kissing is not just kissing. It is a major escalation or de-escalation point in a powerful process of mate choice," said Helen Fisher, professor at Rutgers University and author of the book "Why Him, Why Her: Finding Real Love by Understanding Your Personality Type.”

“59 percent of men and 66 percent of women reported that after feeling attracted to another person initially, the attraction ended after the first kiss” Fisher said.

Also she said”humans have evolved three core brain systems for mating and reproduction:

• Lust—the *** drive or libido

• Romantic attraction—romantic love

• Attachment—deep feelings of union with a long term partner.”

Women tend to be attracted to male partners with a different immune system makeup from their own, Fisher said. They subconsciously detect information about a partner's immune system through smell during kissing, she said.

Research led by Wendy Hill, professor of neuroscience at Lafayette College, looked at how kissing affects the hormones oxytocin, sometimes called the "love hormone," which is associated with social bonding, and cortisol, a measure of stress.

My beloved, from all of the previous we have to understand why did the prophet order us to start the sexual intercourse by kissing because the sexual relation is an organized operation that have a meaning and purpose not just a way to voiding the human desire just like animals.

Hence, we have a question if the prophet is a lustful man, why did he saythis medical advice which complies with the latest medical discoveries?

Also, the prophet asked people to marry and he said about those people who don’t want to marry” whoever don’t follow my orders is not like me”, so the prophet organized the sexual relations and ordered us to marry….that is exactly what the latest scientists are calling people to do and follow.

According to another studies, the scientists confirm that the sexual relation has many benefits such as to prevent flu, heart and cancer diseases and to have a protective effect on men's health.

In a research by Queen's University in Belfast, scientists found that practicing sexual relation for three times a week has reduced by 50% the probabilities to be affected by heart attack and has many benefits to protect the Skeletal and the density of bones.

Conclusion

At the end we want to say to the atheist who claim that the religion of Islam is not in conjunction with the science: what did you offer the humanity? In fact you offered the world many disasters such as: Aids, suicide, Pessimism, depression, home violence, raping, murders, drugs and sexual diseases.

Our advice to you is to follow the guidance of this religion to save your efforts and time in this life and to be away of the hell in the hereafter.

Converting female to male: a new method by the devil




That is what the devil committed himself to do when Allah Almighty through him away from heaven as atheists and disbelievers are obeying his commands…

When Allah Almighty through Iblis (Satan) out of heaven, the Satan became an enemy for man and he committed himself to deviate people from the right path as he assured that he will encourage people to change the creation of Allah.

Concerning that matterHe almighty says in the holy Qur’an on the tongue of the Satan: (and indeed I will order them to change the nature created by Allah." And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss){Sûrat An-Nisâ’-The Women -verse119.

Hence, it is really disappointing to say that today there are many scientists and researchers who are working hard in the field of changing the creation of Allah. The most recent study is to changing female to male!!!!

Changing female to male

In England, a team of British and German researchers focused on examining genes known as Sox9 and FoxL2a gene which keeps ovaries producing female hormones has been identified by biomedical scientists.

The discovery is said to important because it may mean that a baby’s *** is not solely determined by X and Y chromosomes found in sperm.

According to the study, scientists can switch the ovary into a testicle cells and that could be done by a few changes in the genes

They found that when they used a trick to switch off Sox9 in adult female mice, the other gene came into action. This has the effect of switching the ovary off and it starts effectively turning into a testicle, producing the male hormone testosterone.

The animals' eggs shriveled up and the cells in their ovaries turned into those found in the testicles, including a type the nurse sperm through their development. Other cells started to produce testosterone.However, the 'female' mice did not make sperm.

The research centered on two genes, one called Sox9, which is crucial for the development of testes in the womb, and another called FoxL2.

The ability to turn ovaries into testes could also remove the need for some of the surgery involved in ***-change operations

Dr Lovell-Badgeone of the co-authors of the research said: 'FoxL2 is certainly a very important gene for maintaining and ovary as an ovary and for ovarian function”.

Robin also said “we take it for granted that we maintain the *** we are born with.But this work shows that the activity of a single gene, FoxL2, is all that prevents adult ovary cells from turning into cells found in the testes,”.

The positive side in the study

But, there is a positive and fruitful side in that study as the research team believe that the study could help understand and one day treat premature menopause, It could also lead to drugs that allow women to give their ovaries 'a rest', temporarily freeing them from the misery of periods and preserving the cache of eggs they are born with.

It is worth to mention that One per cent of British women go through the menopause before they hit 40 and some are just in their teens when their periods stop.

The holy Qur’an talked about these attempts

Allah Almighty told us about His power and that He is the creator of all creations as He Almighty says: (O mankind! We have created you from a male and a female){Sûrat Al-Hujurât -The Dwellings –verse13} also He Almighty says: (And indeed We created the heavens and the earth and all between them in six Days and nothing of fatigue touched Us.){SuratQâf-vesre38}. He Almighty assureson His ultimate power by saying: (){ Sûrat At-Tûr-The Mount -verse35}.

But disbelievers decided to obey the Satan and be away from the straightway of Allah by spending time and money in changing the creation of the creator instead of using them in what is in the interest of humanity.

As we mentioned in the previous paragraph, scientists can change the gender of people and also can treat women who are infected by premature menopause. Indeed they have to choose which way to walk in as He Almighty says in the holly Qur’an about human: (Have We not made for him a pair of eyes?*And a tongue and a pair of lips* And shown him the two ways (good and evil)){Sûrat Al-Balad-The City -verse8-10}.

Conclusion

Prophet Mohamed peace be upon him was busy in delivering the message of Islam, teaching people, guiding them to the right path and fightingatheists and enemies of Allah , but how can he get the idea of prediction a future event?

In fact, the prophet didn’t predict but he received the Qur’an from Allah Almighty and what are in the Qur’an concerning some future events are only to strengthen our faith to know that this book is not a human made and it was descended from Allah Almighty.

My beloved, Allah Almighty is warning us from the Satan and He Almighty orders us not to follow his way by saying: (And whoever takes Shaitan (Satan) as a Wali (protector or helper) instead of Allah, has surely suffered a manifest loss.*He [Shaitan (Satan)] makes promises to them, and arouses in them false desires; and Shaitan's (Satan) promises are nothing but deceptions.){Sûrat An-Nisâ-The Women –verse119-120}.

A Scientific Report Affirms that AIDS is threatening the American Capital


It’s AIDS: this fatal disease that has started invading the American capital until it has become a dangerous pandemic. Scientists, however, are unable to solve this phenomenon, so how did Islam solve it? …

The health management in the American capital, Washington DC, stated that the outspread of aids in the city has reached a pandemic level for 3% of its’ criticizes who are over 12 years old are infected with the AIDS virus. The management stated in a report that the pandemic is more prevalent among African Americans as well as people between 40 and 49 years old.

This report confirms that the level of aids outspread rates in Washington DC is equal to that of Uganda and surpasses that of several African states. According to the report, the UN and the pandemic ******* and fighting management in Washington DC have always described the outbreak of aids as pandemic and serious in cases when its rate surpasses that of 1%.

The report stated that "the general rate in the district is even three times” this rate. In comparison only 0.5% Americans have cancer. The report considered that this rate is conservative since a number of Americans in Washington DC aren't aware that they have aids. The rate of aids among black males has reached 6.5%, 3% among Latin males, and 2.6% among white males.

The disease rate among people between 40- 49 years old has reached 7.2% followed by 5.2% among people between 50-59 years old. The major reason for aids in Washington DC is male homosexuality followed by bisexuality, followed by taking illegal drugs.

This is a picture of aids virus that puzzled scientists though it's the weakest of God's creatures!!!! Look how this weak creature defeats atheist scientists who claim that nature exists by coincidence!

In fact, this creature is but one of God’s soldiers and forces that Allah has subjected to fight homosexuals and those who do shameful deeds. Would they then repent to Allah; Allah, the exalted says:

“And We have set none But angels as guardians Of the Fire; and We Have fixed their number Only as a trial For Unbelievers,—in order That the People of the Book

May arrive at certainty, And the Believers may increase In Faith,—and that no doubts

May be left for the People Of the Book and the Believers, And that those in whose hearts

Is a disease and the Unbelievers May say, "What symbol Doth God intend by this?

Thus doth God leave to stray Whom He pleaseth, and guide Whom He pleaseth: and none

Can know the forces [soldiers] Of thy Lord, except He. And this is no other than

A warning to mankind.” Muddathth or One Wrapped up: 31

Raymond Martinez, the medical director at Whitman Walker center, one of the biggest centers specialized in aids care, says that the real number of aids spread level is 5% adding that when more inhabitants of the district are examined, the disease outbreak rate is about 5%. In fact it’s higher than 3%, but a huge number of people haven’t been examined yet. The increase that has been recorded recently is due to the pressure to make everybody take aids medical tests.

The report stated that the specialized management adopted a strategy that consists of a number of points to solve the pandemic outbreak. First, promoting the medical test and preventing the spread of the virus through the use of condoms, fighting the habits of using illegal drug injections, and finally providing more advice and awareness to the actual infected patients.

All Praise to Allah for the Grace of Islam

When we read this report and have a look at the UN statistics that assert that the rate of aids cases constitutes terrible numbers and that the major reason for this disease is doing shameful deeds of all types, we would realise why Islam has forbidden shameful deeds of all types; Allah, the almighty says:” Say: The things that my Lord Hath indeed forbidden are: Shameful deeds, whether open Or secret; sins and trespasses Against truth or reason; assigning Of partners to God, for which He hath given no authority;

And saying things about God Of which ye have no knowledge.” A’raf: 33 (Ibid)

If American researchers don’t forbid shameful deeds and homosexuality, they will never be able to solve the damage that has taken place in their country. Despite the many continuous appeals of scientists, the medical precautions, spending a lot of money on medical examinations, etc this disease isn’t still eradicated and is even increasing.

Here the greatness of Islam becomes evident because it has forbidden adultery, homosexuality, and intoxicants at a time when no one on earth knew anything about their medical dangers and when no one could have predicted that doing shameful deeds and talking about them publically (as is happening in non-Islamic countries) will cause new diseases at the top of which is aids.

Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, whom Allah sent as a mercy to mankind, however talked clearly about such phenomenon when he said: “never does sexual perversion become widespread and publicly known in certain people without them being overtaken by plague and diseases that never happened to their ancestors who came before them.” narrated by Ibn Maja.

The question is how could an illiterate man at that time take people away from ignorance, shameful deeds, and worshiping stones to the light of faith, guidance, purity, and righteousness? Today, the scientists of the 21st century are unable to solve the phenomenon of aids , so how could a man who lived in the desert (as infidels say) and who didn’t have sufficient education, research or ability know the cons of shameful deeds and lewdness? How did he convince people to stop doing these awful shameful deeds? The only logical explanation is that it is Allah, the almighty who convinced and guided people to faith by virtue of the holy Qur’an and that Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, did call people to Islam honestly without adding or deleting anything from its teachings and message and this is a logical and practical evidence of the truthfulness of Prophet Mohammad, PBUH, as well as that of the message of Islam and the holy Qur'an, the word of Allah, the almighty. All praise to Allah for the grace of Islam and we ask Allah, the merciful to forgive us in this world and in the hereafter.

There is a great Qur’anic reference to the psychological impact on gray hair. Allah, the Great, refers to a momentous event that will take place on the Day of Resurrection i.e. the hair of a little kid would turn gray out of the horrors of that day; Allah, the Almighty says:

“Then how shall ye,

If ye deny (God),

Guard yourselves against

A Day that will make

Children hoary-headed?" Muzzammil: 17

Researchers have conducted scientific studies to discover the secrets of gray hair. These studies have revealed that the psychological factors are extremely significant in accelerating the emergence of gray hair. This is because fear and psychological disorders cause a series of disturbances in the operating system of enzymes and cells thus causing gray hair to appear at an early age. Accordingly, the horrors of the Day of Resurrection are so terrifying that newly born babies would turn gray because of such horrors. The question that needs be answered is who might have revealed this scientific fact to Prophet Mohammad, PBUH?
