![]() The Work of Allah: Sea Star
Allah almighty says “The Work of Allah, Who perfected all things” (An-Naml:88). Many creatures Allah (swt) has created to glorify him follow his commands, and for us to think of Allah’s (swt) complicated designs to be a reason to believe that Allah (swt) is the one and only God.…. Some species have more or fewer than five arms. One of the amazing things about this creature is that when it loses one of its arms, a new one will grow to ******* the lost one. Moreover, the lost arm will grow to regenerate an entirely new Sea Star. This is one way that this amazing creature is able to maintain its population. Allah (swt) almighty supplied this creature with sensory neurons on its arms that enable it to feel, taste, smell, and to distinguish dark from light. Glory to Allah (swt) almighty who guides this creature in the sea darkness and supplies it with belongings to find its sustenance! Allah (swt) almighty says in the Quran “And so many a moving creature carries not its own provision! Allah provides for it and for you. And He is the All-Hearer, the All-Knower” (Al-Ankabut:60). -------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel Source: Encatra |

![]() The Birds With Wings Out-Spread
Who holds these birds during flying in the sky? And who subjected them for us to learn from them aeronautics? Without the birds, man couldn't be able to invent planes……. Scientists have observed birds for a long time and were astonished from the techniques that they use in flying. It was shown that these birds use complicated techniques and many operations are done in their brains to estimate the distances and the coordination between the wings movement to ensure successful takeoff and landing. The bird depends on spreading and folding their wings and the flying instinct arises in it without learning, as the bird is previously programmed to execute these operations. Scientists were able to imitate and get benefit from birds in inventing the plane, as these birds are subjected for us to learn from them aeronautics. Therefore God says: (Do they not see the birds held (flying) in the midst of the sky? None holds them but Allâh [none gave them the ability to fly but Allâh]. Verily, in this are clear Ayât (proofs and signs) for people who believe (in the Oneness of Allâh) [Surat An-Nahl, verse: 79]. Therefore we can't say anything except Glory to God! As he subjected for us all these creatures. And surely scientists will find other benefits if they considered that these birds are subjected for us. God says: (See you not (O Muhammad) that Allâh, He it is Whom glorify whosoever is in the heavens and the earth, and the birds with wings out-spread (in their flight)?. Of each one He (Allâh) knows indeed his Salât (prayer) and his glorification, [or everyone knows his Salât (prayer) and his glorification]; and Allâh is All-Aware of what they do) [Surat An-Nur, verse: 41]. -------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel Source: National Geographic |

![]() Sound Of Ants
A new research has found that the ants speak like us! The Holy Quran mentioned this face 1400 years ago, let's read.... Advances in audio technology have enabled scientists to discover that ants routinely talk to each other in their nests. Most ants have a natural washboard and plectrum built into their abdomens that they can rub together to communicate using sound. Using miniaturised microphones and speakers that can be inserted unobtrusively into nests, researchers established that the queens can issue instructions to their workers. The astonished researchers, who managed to make the first recordings of queen ants “speaking”, also discovered that other insects can mimic the ants to make them slaves. Rebel's large blue butterfly is one of about 10,000 creatures that have a parasitic relationship with ants and has now been found to have learnt to imitate the sounds as well as using chemical signals. The butterfly's caterpillars are carried by ants into the nests where they beg for food and are fed by the workers. When a colony is disturbed the ants will rescue the caterpillars before their own broods. Research several decades ago had shown that ants were able to make alarm calls using sounds, but only now has it been shown that their vocabulary may be much bigger and that they can “talk” to each other. Professor Jeremy Thomas, of the University of Oxford, said improvements in technology had made the discoveries possible because it meant the ants could be recorded and subjected to playbacks without becoming alarmed. By placing miniature speakers into the nest and playing back sounds made by a queen, the researchers were able to persuade ants to stand to attention. “When we played the queen sounds they did 'en garde' behaviour. They would stand motionless with their antennae held out and their jaws apart for hours - the moment anyone goes near they will attack,” he said. He described how the ants would press their antennae to the speaker just as they would seek to greet another ant in the nest. Professor Thomas said it remained unclear how much the ants relied on sound for ******** but he suspected that further analysis would reveal a wider vocabulary than had been seen yet. “The most important discovery is that within the ant colony different sounds can provoke different reactions,” he said. “I would be very surprised if we didn't get different types of sound. “It's within the power of the ant to play different tunes by changing the rhythm with which they rub.” He added that the detection of the role of sounds provided the “final piece of the jigsaw” to explain how Rebel's large blue caterpillars survive in ants' nests and should help to guide conservationists in trying to save the endangered European mountain species. Francesca Barbero, of the University of Turin, said: “Our new work shows that the role of sound in information exchange within ant colonies has been greatly underestimated.” Karsten Schِnrogge, of the Centre for Ecology & Hydrology in Oxfordshire, said the mimicry by the caterpillars was so convincing that the ants afforded them higher status than their own young. They will even slaughter their own young to feed the interlopers when food is scarce. Now let's think and read this verse, Allah Almighty says: "when they came to the Valley of the Ants, an ant said: "O ants, enter your dwellings lest Solomon and his armies crush you without even noticing it." [27/18]. This verse refer to ant speaking, and this is what scientist discovered. This fact makes us Glory Allah SWT, Subhana Allah! ------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel Source: http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/environment/article5672006.ece |

![]() Humans Can Learn to "See" With Sound
With just a click of the tongue, anyone can learn to "see" with their ears, according to a new study of human echo********…. Several animals, such as bats, dolphins, whales, and some shrews, are known to use echo********—sound waves bounced off nearby objects—to sense what's around them. Inspired by a blind man who also navigates using sound, a team of Spanish scientists has found evidence that suggests most humans can learn to echolocate. The team also confirmed that the so-called palate click—a sharp click made by depressing the tip of the tongue against the roof of the mouth—is the most effective noise for people to use. Sound Training Daniel Kish, executive director of World Access for the Blind in Huntington Beach, California, was born blind. He taught himself to "see" using palate clicks when he was a small child. Kish is able to mountain bike, hike in the wilderness, and play ball games without traditional aids. To better understand Kish's skill, Juan Antonio Martيnez and his colleagues at the University of Alcalل in Madrid trained ten sighted students to echolocate. "It was very difficult to persuade some people to take part in the experiments, because most [of our] colleagues though that our idea was absurd," Martيnez said. The students were asked to close their eyes and make sounds until they could tell whether any objects were nearby. The Holy Quran refers to the importance of "hearing". So in many verses we found that the Hearing precede the "sight", Let's see this verse, Allah Almighty says: (And Allah brought you forth from the wombs of your mothers knowing nothing, and gave you hearing and sight and hearts that haply ye might give thanks.) [16/78]. So we can say: The Holy Quran compatible with new researchs. ------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel Source: www.nationalgeographic.com |

![]() When Ants Speak
After a long observation, researchers have found that the ants speak like us! Let's read this article..... The researcher, Dr. Robert Hickling, has spent long years in insect observation and monitoring audio frequencies made by it. But, there was no possibility to confirm that only when he was able to record the voices issued by ants! The aim was to track the presence of ants in agricultural crops and scientists found that the most effective way is by tracking the voice of ants! But what amazed this scientist is that the sound frequencies issued by ants vary from an ant to another, from one gender to another and from one situation to another! There are 12 thousand kinds of ants in the world, and the number of ants on the ground is more than doubles the number of people, this multiplicity puzzled researchers how to deal with these voices. He has been able to record different voices of ants. Those researches have been published on the magazine Journal of Sound and Vibration in 2006, and it was the first time that man heard a real voice of ants! ![]() (till, when they came to the valley of the ants, one of the ants said:’’O ants enter your dwellings, lest Sulaiman (Solomon) and his hosts should crush you, while they perceive not’’). [AN-Naml (ants): 18]. ![]() Ants use audio signals especially pronounced during the sense of danger, we find that one of ants undertake the task of warning, she launches an appeal which the other ants receive, understand and immediately respond to it. Here I invite you to listen to the voice of this ant when she is warning the rest of the ants from a danger. Click here ------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel Sources: 1. Hickling R, Brown RL. ![]() The Amazing Religion
The most recent western statistics about the spread of Islam state that Islam is the fastest growing religion and that it’s the only religion whose followers practise it and cling to it marvelously. In 2030, Muslims will constitute more than 2,200millions of the world's population. Islam spreads in almost all countries and grows fast especially in France, USA, Canada, Australia, and Europe. This is a scientific fact that's proven by numbers. The holy Qur'an, however, revealed it 14 centuries ago; Allah, the almighty says in the holy Qur'an: “ It is He Who hath sent His Messenger with guidance and the Religion of Truth, to proclaim it over all religion, even though the Pagans may detest (it).” Tauba or Repentance: 9: 33 If Mohammad, PBUH, wrote the holy Qur’an, how did he know that Islam will spread fast? The above verse testifies that the holy Qur'an is definitely the word of god. -------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel |

![]() Prostration Cures Nervous Tension
![]() When prostrating, worshippers are the closest to god. Everything in this universe prostrates to God including the sun, the moon, the stars, the trees, and even every single cell of our bodies and every atom of this vast universe. Every time you prostrate to god, god elevates you to a higher level, spiritually and religiously, and every level equals what's between the heavens and the earth. Prostration is a kind of exercises that lets out the extra charges, activates the blood circulation, improves concentration, and trains man to be patient and calm. Let’s contemplate those who are praised in the holy Qur’an; “Those who spend the night in adoration of their Lord prostrate and standing” Furqan: 25: 64 What’s their reward? Allah, the exalted answers this question in the same chapter, surah, He says in the holy Qur'an: “Those are the ones who will be rewarded with the highest place in heaven, because of their patient constancy: therein shall they be met with salutations and peace” Furqan: 25: 75 Let’s contemplate how Allah, the omniscient combines between prostration at night and patience, a proof that more prostration cures tensions and makes people more patient. -------------------- By: Abduldaem Al-Kaheel |
